I wonder if anybody actually still comes to this website. I have done such little maintenance to it the last years, it's a wonder to me that it is still here. Yet behold, it's once former glory still glimmers dimly. If anybody actually still checks it out, I'd like to hear from you, just out of shits and giggles.

But this once dignified website still stands as does some of it's own pride. The constant excuse of a 'coming update' is still being used however. But it is coming. I'm writing this amen't I? I'm keeping busy, things are on the go. Currently I am in Milwaukke doing Max Air shows. If you haven't heard of them you'll be learning of them soon enough.

I've decided to transform this dilapidated website into a new lfiestyle magazine. It won't be solely ski dedicated any longer and instead it will be an outlet of my random vaporous ponderings. I shall call it 'Bliss' and it's going to be kinda cool. I have years of content that I have been sitting on and I hope to make something as unique as Rant was. Though it will be called Bliss, it will continue to feature my near tireless rantings and banal wit (speaking of which I recently met a close friend of Hunter S Thompson, his name was Ted, he was a HUGE baller and rather chillerific).

It's 2:45 AM here now and I'm just spending unspent energy that was not dispersed from my watching the Count of Monte Cristo - great movie people. I hope this website still has fans as I still have a soft spot in my heart for this teenage dabbling of mine. I mentioned this site to a skier I now work with from Colorado and he recognized the site and said his friends spoke of it before, but did not see it's connection to me till I told him I authored it. Little snippets of gossip such as this keep me ticking and interested in proliferating my trains of rambling rant. Here's me signing out for the night. Keep poster on this site. One day it might visibly ChAngE. Peace.

Well.... it's been an awfully long time since there's been an update here eh? Well guess what? ... You're going to have to wait even longer! That's right, I plan on doing a revampment sometime soon. And I have accumulated years of content to add as well, good shit might I add. I have tons of stuff to put on this site and many ideas I'd one day like to accomplish, but it's not going to be today but I promise you that it's coming and that it will be sweet.

Anyways, I'm kicking it in Whistler still. Keeping it poor, couch surfing, no clean laundry, you know how it is... But it's been a good haul and I have some excellent stories to tell. Every day on the mountain seems more fantastic then the next. It's too bad I'm out of cash and deep in debt otherwise I'd be bumming in Whistler even longer. But it has been an excellent 8 months of unemployment and sooner or later, you gotta learn that being a total bum doesn't last forever. I lived the dream for a good long while but it's time to deposit myself back in a more orthodox reality. But there's some hot shit cooking in the kitchen and I'll be serving out a tasty tasty dish soon enough. Peace out until I get myself back on my home computer. The pot's a brewing. Praise to Ullr and word up to all you other broke ass soldiers who are probably too stoned to be reading this anyway.

At 3:00 PM Saturday October 26th 2002, our dear friend Carlos Collins died in a tragic car accident. He was only a tender 19 when his life was extinguished. He was full of wanderlust and the most free spirited soul I knew. We will all miss him dearly. Rest in pece bro.

"Self Inflicted Wounds" is finally complete, and has been dedicated in Carlos' honor. We are saddened that Carlos never got to see the final product. We think he would have been proud though. We are selling copies for $10 each, email hucksplat@shaw.ca for a copy. Total running time is 45 minutes.

It's that time of year again. Winter. Time for the annual migration North to Whistler to feast in the orgy of snow that seduces me. Over the last 96 hours, there has been 110 cm of fresh snow. It is puking. And I'm a coming. Today is my last day here in Vancouver. It's the end of an era for me. I'm finished with the dilly dallies of high school and I am now a legal adult. Personally, I don't like the feeling too much.

Anyways, all this means that I'm going to have to be serious abou things from now on. The Decepticons are destroying it effectively. The teaser should be up and running. Nothing too fancy, heck, we don't even have titles yet. But it's a good show for our first venture into full motion video and I'm actually quite pleased with it. Go to the movie section for more information.

Winter is here.
